Hiroshima
Today is the anniversary of the Hiroshima bombing. Destruction and death of the worst kind, slow painful deaths strectching over generations. An event to end all wars? Can we look at the face of horror and say that is enough! We will conduct all future disputes diplomatically.
Looking around this August 6th 2005, we are no better off than in 1945. We still have an American president killing hundreds of thousands in Iraq; and again slowly....just with different bombs. We have the uneasiness of terrorism pervading our cities. We have differences all around the world. Iraq, Africa, Israel, Palestine and do we sit and talk and iron out our differences? No! we kill and maime and terrorize.
Hiroshima was in vain. Poor souls.

It is now June 20 2012 and the above blog still remains valid in every sense. The Arab Spring has killed many more innocent people and as we move headlong into a financial disaster on a world wide scale, more human lives will suffer and die.
